The Salamanca Wharf Hotel has been designed to provide guests with every modern comfort and convenience in a beautiful, self-contained apartment. Our Hotel provides the option of cooking or laundering for yourself if you desire, or simply using it as a traditional hotel room with the bonus of some extra space to stretch out, do some work or conduct a meeting. All this within Tasmania’s premier entertainment precinct – Salamanca.
Reception Hours
Our reception is open on week days from 9:30am until 5pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9:30am until 4pm. If you plan to arrive at the hotel outside of reception hours, please contact the hotel in advance to receive your late arrival instructions which will provide you access to the hotel and your room.
Parking
Parking is at a premium in Salamanca, but our hotel provides parking in Tasmania's first car stacker. There are height and length restrictions, however we can also provide a limited number of street parks for larger vehicles if required.
Free parking is available for your car and is included in our rates (subject to availability).

Nice clean hotel
I had the opportunity to spend a night at the Salamanca Wharf Hotel while in Hobart on a business trip. Shortly after booking my room, I received an email requesting my arrival information as the desk is not manned 24/7. As I was arriving after the staff left, I received an email with detailed instructions on how to access the hotel and room. Needless to say, the instructions were "spot on" and I was in my room minutes after the cab dropped me off. The room was clean, modern, and very nice; the bed was very comfortable and the wireless was stable and quick. I will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to Hobart.

Great Service at a Stunning Location
Situated on the beautiful harbourside at Salamanca, you are close to the night life, the city and the must see Salamanca Markets. We had a lovely room with a king bed, kitchen and balcony. My husband and I had a blissful time on our honeymoon and were even given a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
