This Off Season in Tasmania, we are offering a package especially designed for those looking for a hearty winter getaway. Who can resist a two night get away in one of the gorgeous Salamanca Wharf Hotel Premium Apartment or Loft Penthouse apartments with a couple of extras thrown in?
Indulge in luxury accommodation for a minimum two-night stay with your choice of a Premium Apartment or a Loft Penthouse, part of our exclusive Winter Harmony package. Don your cozy beanie and scarf to traverse kunanyi/Mount Wellington with included Explorer Bus passes, enveloping yourself in the cool mountain air. Then, upon returning, shed your layers and revel in the warmth of our mini winter whisky delight by Old Kempton Distillery. Experience true winter harmony for the soul.
Prices for the two-night Winter Harmony Package are:
- Premium Apartment - from $460 for stays Sunday to Thursday night, or $660 for weekends (Friday/Saturday nights)
- Loft Penthouse - from $690 for stays Sunday to Thursday night, or $890 for weekends (Friday/Saturday nights)
The ticket included in your Winter Harmony Package is a ‘return’ with the Explorer Bus. The journey is 50 mins up, 30 minutes at the summit and return is 45 minutes.You may choose to extend your summit stay by an additional hour, or also hop off at any of the 5 stops to explore further down the mountain to walk, enjoy coffee, or take in the views. You can hop on any of the Explorer Buses on the way back down the mountain, please just confirm with the driver alternate return bus time options first.
Bus departure times from Brooke Street Pier pick-up point are:
- 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm (Timetable may vary on snow days.)

Our standard 48hr cancellation policy applies. Bus ticket time selections are subject to availability. Bus tickets cannot be redeemed for cash.
